Heating Engineers for Sevenoaks Homes
We work across Sevenoaks TN13, from the town centre and the roads around Sevenoaks station to Kippington, Wildernesse, Riverhead, Dunton Green and Sevenoaks Weald.
Sevenoaks has a wide mix of homes, from Victorian and Edwardian houses near the town centre to large detached properties on the edges of town. Bigger homes usually mean more radiators, more than one bathroom and heating systems that have been extended over the years.
On one Sevenoaks installation, we replaced an old combi with a Vaillant system boiler and connected it to the home's underfloor heating. On another, we replaced an old Potterton with a Baxi 600 combi fitted neatly in a kitchen cupboard. Where several bathrooms are in use at once, we usually recommend a system boiler with an unvented cylinder, fitted by our G3-qualified engineer.
Sevenoaks has several conservation areas, including Kippington and Oakhill Road, The Vine, Vine Court and Wildernesse, so we check the boiler position and flue route carefully at survey stage and tell you if anything should be checked with Sevenoaks District Council first. Every installation includes a system clean, inhibitor and a magnetic filter, with scale protection where your water needs it.
Boiler Installation in Otford
Otford sits on the River Darent, about three miles north of Sevenoaks, and our team covers the whole village (TN14), from the High Street and village centre to the homes around Otford station and out towards Kemsing and Shoreham.
The village centre is a conservation area with around forty listed buildings, alongside the remains of the Archbishop's Palace and the famous listed duck pond. If your home is listed or in the conservation area, we plan the boiler position, flue and pipework carefully at survey stage and tell you if listed building consent or a check with Sevenoaks District Council may be needed.
Otford homes range from period cottages to larger family houses. Smaller homes with good mains pressure often suit a combi or a tank-fed to combi conversion, while larger homes with several bathrooms usually suit a system boiler with an unvented cylinder. We test your mains pressure and flow at the free survey before recommending either. In Otford, we recently installed a Megaflo unvented cylinder, fitted by our G3-qualified engineer.
