Heating in SE9 Homes
We regularly work across Eltham centre and Well Hall, Eltham Park and the Blackheath borders, New Eltham and Avery Hill, and the Mottingham and Kidbrooke borders.
Most of our Eltham work is in 1930s semis and terraces, Victorian and Edwardian houses, post-war and ex-council homes, and flats and maisonettes. We regularly find ageing combis, conventional systems with loft tanks and cylinders, sludged-up radiators, and old back boilers still fitted behind the fireplace.
Back boilers are now well past their working life. We remove them and fit a modern combi or heat-only boiler, usually in a better position, and make the old gas and flue connections safe. In other homes, a combi swap or conversion suits most semis and flats, while larger houses with two or more bathrooms usually need a system boiler with an unvented cylinder, fitted by our G3-qualified engineers.
Eltham is in a hard water area, so our installations include system cleaning, inhibitor, a magnetic filter and limescale protection. Parts of Well Hall, including the Progress Estate, are within a conservation area, so we check flue positions carefully at survey stage.

★★★★★
From start to finish, a very professional company. I had a new boiler fitted after a very cold New Year’s Eve. I was kept in the loop at every stage of the process; deciding on budget, convenience and quality and finally the timeline. I would definitely use them again. I am so pleased to have hot water and heating again.

We tried a few gas engineers who either didn’t turn up or asked for excessive amounts of money for a new boiler replacement and were very pleased with the services of Harman , and his associate Chris did a great job fitting a new boiler, very efficient service and
would highly recommend them
